RAM School provides attendees with an introduction to apartment management. In a classroom setting over eight days, local experts will cover such topics as office management, leasing techniques, marketing, financing, maintenance, security, legal issues and federally assisted housing programs.
Successful completion of RAM School and its final exam is the first step in obtaining the Registered in Apartment Management designation, administered by the National Associated Builders & Owners (NABO).
Included in the local curriculum is the full-day seminar on the Virginia Residential Landlord & Tenant Act, which will be held April 16.
